Can't you get it back? A little update would be fine.

Well we're doing our best to get it back.

The Ownership of the site is Dark Fox, and we're doing our best to get more information.

So far we know, that he would take a look into it, and if we couldn't get it back then we have to pay for it.

That's all we know so far.

The 'free' period was over, if you want the .com site someone have to pay for it. Job told me that

Our host is trying to get the old url back for free, if they don't get it back we have to pay for it.
It's not that much to hire the .com domain so eventually we will get it back.

Please have some patience, I have to wait too

We've been waiting for like half year now, I hope that we get it back soon enough, been long enough :p

As for now, the forum still tells me our domain has expired and we need to purchase one to get it back, it also says rafclanforum.com is in use at this moment. Well that's because it's used by us. xD But there's this thing that locks a domain after expiration for 60-90 days, which means even IF we purchase a domain, we can't get our beloved rafclanforum.com back. (for now)
A while back I e-mailed my contact at forumotions for a renewal, she said we didn't get an automatic renewal because their system detected illegal content on our forum like a download section and private servers. BUT she trusted my honesty and requested a renewal for a free .com domain.
Now that's like 2 weeks ago and still nothing so I just emailed her again for more clarity and with a question if our request is still pending and IF we need to purchase the domain if we can get our old one back.

She's a real quick person when it comes to answering emails so I'm expecting to be able to tell you guys more by tomorrow.

I hope that's answering all of your questions at this point.

A little update:

We got a free domain back provided by forumotions.
Good news because otherwise we would have to pay for it so 'Hail Forumotions!!'

Bad news, the old .com url is currently not available yet, I'm still having contact with forumotions to see if there's anything they can do to get it back before the 60-90 days of waiting time is over.
Hopefully they can fix that, if not I hope we can get a temporary url and when de waiting time is over we can switch back to our old beloved url. I'm not sure if this is posible so that's also one of the things I mailed Forumotion.

I have the feeling darkfox isn't really trying to fix this. I hope i'm wrong...

i have the feeling no1 is trying to revive raf exept a few but they dont have time aswell so

I got vacation next week, i still got a IRL project to work on, but i will do my best to get online daily, and meet up with some of our (NEW) guests.

I'm sorry that i'm not as active as i used to be.
